Angela Boeva is an award-winning chef creating emotion-evoking culinary experiences through the connective power of food.
Born in Bulgaria, raised in the kitchen – Angela comes from a long-line of mothers, aunties and grandmothers that were culinary artists in their own right, and who inspired in her a love for food that both nurtures and bonds. Having previously worked in fashion in a past life, she eventually left London to answer her true calling in the culinary world. While completing her professional training in Culinary Arts at the HRC Culinary Academy, Angela was selected to represent Bulgaria in the prestigious Global Young Chef Olympiad in 2020, where she was awarded 4th place out of 55 countries, along with a number of speciality awards for Creativity, Sustainability and Plating, and commendations for her skills in pâtisserie.
Angela has been invited as a guest head chef at a number of pop-up spaces due to her unique artisanal desserts. She has also consulted as a food stylist for several national ad campaigns. Angela further honed her skills in pastry and dessert-making in the pâtisserie capital of the world, having worked and trained in Paris for acclaimed pattisier, Pierre Hermé. She currently works at Wild by Tart as sous-chef, where she has collaborated with clients such as Burberry, Harper’s Bazaar, Karen Millen, Netflix, River Island, L’Oreal Paris, and others.
With a creative eye for detail born out of her time in fashion styling, and a rich food palette cultivated by a commitment to cuisine integrity, Angela's practice as a chef is one that extends a sense of discernment and taste to not just the flavours she creates, but the entire dining experience.
Angela is based in London, where she continues to elevate her craft, and hosts a boutique supperclub under her own name.
